Also be aware that questioning a person about their disability or why they need a service dog is not only uncouth, it can be considered an attempt at intimidation. We have run into people that think only independence dogs and seeing eye dogs are 'real' service dogs. We have had to deal with veteran' s social anxiety that people would be mean or judge them for having a service animal without a cane or a wheel chair. Those kind of close minded and judgmental attitudes have harmed people who deserve it the least.
